Speaking at Council, Cabinet and other meetings

The council has procedures in place so that members of the public can speak at committee meetings.

If you address a meeting, your name and the contents of your submission will be recorded in the minutes and on the council’s website, both of which are a permanent and public record.

To register your intention to speak at a meeting and for information about attendance, please use our email our Democratic Services team. Details about speaking at committees in general are also included in the council's constitution.
