The phone lines will shut at 4pm on Wednesday 24th December 2025 and re-open at 9am on Friday 2nd of January 2026.

Visit the town hall
To facilitate the refurbishment of the Town Hall, the entrance to the Town Hall / Customer Service Centre, located opposite the Library, is not in use.
The Customer Service Centre operates from a reduced area accessible only through the rear/car park entrance. Clear signage is in place.
The town hall is open for you to come in to use the self-help computers and phones in reception to access support and council services.
If you need to speak to a member of staff in person, you must arrange an appointment.
The works are anticipated to be completed in 2026.

Monday: 9am to 1pm
Tuesday: 1pm to 5pm
Wednesday: 10am to 2pm
Thursday: 1pm to 5pm
Friday: 9am to 1pm
Weekends and public holidays: Closed
On Wednesday the 24th December 2025, the Customer Service Centre face to face service will operate as normal, closing at 2pm. It will reopen at 9am on Friday 2nd January 2026.
