Existing Customers

The renewal period has now ended. If you did not renew your service, you will need to sign up again.

If you paid by direct debit your service renewed automatically. Your payment will have been taken on 1 July.

If we were unable to take your payment, you will have received a letter.

All Direct Debit customers received stickers during August. Please apply these to the back of your green bin ready for collection.

New customers

Sign up now to receive collections until 31 August 2027. There are no discounts if you sign up part-way through the year and no refunds if you stop using the service.

How does it work?

Follow these steps:

1. Login or register for a My Watford account
2. Sign up for the garden waste collection service
3. You will receive a sticker for each bin within two weeks
4. Apply the sticker to the back of your green bin
5. Put your bin out for collection on your property boundary by 6am on your collection day
6. Bring your bin back within 24 hours of collection

How much does it cost?

Standard

• £62.40 a year for first bin
• £80 a year for each additional bin (up to seven bins in total)

Those receiving council-related benefits

• £40 a year for each bin (see terms and conditions - up to seven bins in total)
