A new home for innovation
In early 2026 Watford’s cabinet appointed Co-Space as its partner to develop and deliver a new Innovation and Incubation Hub, supported by £2 million of funding from Hertfordshire Futures and £8 million Government funding, within the soon-to-be refurbished Town Hall.
This new partnership will see Co-Space lead the delivery and operation of Watford’s Innovation and Incubation Hub, creating modern offices, flexible co‑working areas and meeting rooms in the town centre. Designed to support start‑ups and growing small and medium-sized businesses, the Hub will offer mentoring, training, funding advice and networking opportunities.
Operating on a sustainable commercial model, it will help drive innovation, boost the local economy and strengthen Watford’s growing creative and technology sectors. Co-Space brings proven experience from successful workspaces across the region, helping to create a vibrant, well-connected business community and increasing footfall in the town centre.
