Book a site inspection
Site visits are carried out between 10:30am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
Inspections are usually carried out at the following stages:
- Foundations excavated; when the foundations have been dug and before they are concreted.
- Damp proof course or tanking.
- Oversite.
- Drainage.
- Floor joists or block and beam.
- Steelwork.
- Roof carcass.
- Insulation
- Completion* - We ask for 48 hours' notice to allow our surveyors time to review the relevant information before the site visit.
Book a site inspection
To book a site inspection, you will need:
- The name and telephone number of the site contact.
- The address of the site where you need the inspection.
- Information about the type of inspection you need.
- Your preferred inspection date(s).
Building Control surveyors will only attend inspections if you've applied for building regulations through us and paid the relevant fees.
*If a completion inspection is requested between one and ten years after the last recorded inspection, there will be a charge of £132. We will not carry out a completion inspection after 10 years from the last recorded inspection.
