Reporting a safeguarding concern about a child or young person
Children and young people under the age of 18 have the right to live free from abuse, harm and neglect.
Some children, including those with special educational needs or disabilities, may be at greater risk of harm than others.
If you are concerned that a child or young person may be experiencing abuse, neglect or exploitation, contact Hertfordshire Children’s Services as soon as possible.
Call Hertfordshire Children’s Services on 0300 123 4043. Further information is available online.
The Hertfordshire Safeguarding Children Partnership brings organisations together to help keep children and young people safe.
If someone is in immediate danger, a crime is being committed, or urgent medical attention is required, call 999 immediately.
