Increasing vaccine uptake

Covid cases continue to be high in Watford, as nationally, and currently the highest rates are in our 17 and 18 year olds. This links to an increasing number of hospitalisations in the younger population too. We are asking all young people 16 and above to come forward and ensure they now get protected.

Rapid Testing for all

1 in 3 people with coronavirus don’t show any symptoms so its important that you get the all clear. Protect your friends and family by ensuring your safety and the safety of others.Make sure that if you are attending an event this weekend you get a rapid test before and after the weekend.

Rapid lateral flow testing is available for free to anybody, but is particularly focused on those who are not fully vaccinated.

Rapid tests are free tests for people who do not have any symptoms, they can either be taken at home or at a local test site. They're also known as lateral flow tests. You will get your test results in 60 minutes.

How community groups can help

Please continue doing the things that keep you and others safe and limit the spread of the virus by playing your part.

If you are a community group in Watford – please get in touch we would like to hear from if you are planning any public events or gatherings we can run a pop up clinic alongside you.

If you're an event organiser, or having a gathering it's really important that you promote to your attendees that they get tested before and after the event.
