Residents are invited to connect with local causes and discover ways to get involved at an upcoming community event celebrating the vital work of charities across Watford.

Delivered in partnership with Watford and Three Rivers Trust, this event will bring together a range of local organisations dedicated to supporting and strengthening the community.

The event is being held on Saturday 6 June from 10am – 3pm outside Puttshack in the Harlequin Watford. It provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to meet charity representatives, learn more about the services and initiatives available locally, and explore how they can contribute, whether through volunteering, collaboration, or accessing support.

Visitors will be able to:

  • Meet a variety of local charities working across Watford
  • Learn about community projects and support services
  • Find out how to volunteer or partner with local organisations
  • Engage directly with those making a positive impact in the area

This collaboration highlights a shared commitment to fostering community connections, increasing awareness of local support networks, and encouraging greater involvement in charitable activity.

Elected Mayor of Watford, "This event is about bringing people together, connecting residents with organisations that are working every day to support our community. Whether you're looking to give your time, find support, or simply learn more, we encourage everyone to come along and get involved."

The event is open to all and offers a welcoming, inclusive space for residents, families, and anyone interested in making a difference locally.
