Join the growing volunteer walking team in Watford and Hertfordshire

People walking

Residents are being encouraged to join a growing network of more than 350 volunteers helping people across Hertfordshire stay active, healthy and connected through community walks...

New volunteers are currently being sought to support a range of organised health walks taking place in Cassiobury Park, Holywell and Garston.

The volunteer roles are flexible, with no expectation of a fixed time commitment, making it easy for people to get involved in a way that suits them. Volunteers help support friendly group walks while enjoying the benefits of being outdoors, meeting new people and improving their own wellbeing.

Walks cater for a variety of abilities and fitness levels, ranging from shorter gentle walks to longer and faster-paced routes.
