Families in Watford are being invited to take part in a range of free activities this Easter as the popular Wat’s On holiday programme returns for the school holidays.
From Monday 30 March to Friday 10 April 2026, the programme offers fun, challenging and engaging activities for children ages 5 to 15 years old, with sessions taking place at different locations in Watford.
The Wat’s On programme provides supervised open-access activities designed to help young people stay active, try new things, and spend time with friends during the holidays. All sessions are delivered by trained, experienced coaches, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants.
Activities include creative workshops, sports and adventurous outdoor play, giving children opportunities to build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy being active during the school break.
Sessions are open-access, meaning children can come and go freely during activity times. Parents and carers should keep this in mind if they plan to drop children off.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: "The Wat’s On programme is a fantastic way for young people in Watford to stay active, try new activities and have fun with friends during the school holidays. With a wide range of sessions taking place across the town, it’s a great opportunity for children to get outdoors, be creative and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment."
