Watford Borough Council is thrilled to announce the return of Hertfordshire’s largest FREE fireworks display at Cassiobury Park on Saturday 1 November.

This much-loved annual event promises an unforgettable evening of family fun, live music and dazzling fireworks!

The festivities will begin at 6pm, with Vibe 107.6FM followed by Pat & The Butchers on stage from 6:30pm, keeping the crowds entertained before the spectacular fireworks display lights up the skies at 7.30pm. Families can make the most of a variety of food and drink stalls, kiddies’ funfair rides, bungee trampolines, and a bouncy slide, ensuring a fantastic evening for all ages.

As always, this event supports local good causes. The Watford Lions Club and other volunteers will be out with our collection buckets, raising funds for local charities, including the Chairman’s charities! 100% of donations go directly to local causes. If you prefer to donate digitally, QR code posters will be displayed at all entrances to make it quick and easy to contribute.

Please note parking in the Gade Avenue car park will not be available from 3pm, except for a limited number of Blue Badge spaces offered on a first-come, first-served basis. With parking restrictions in place on surrounding roads from 7am to 11pm, we encourage everyone to use the town centre car parks or consider travelling by public transport where possible. Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: “The Cassiobury Fireworks display is a brilliant way for our community to come together and celebrate. Offering this event free to everyone means families and friends can enjoy a night of entertainment under the stars. It is also good for pets and wildlife as it means there are fewer private displays across the town. I’d like to thank the Watford Lions Club and our volunteers for their incredible support of local charities, as every donation helps make a real difference.”
