This Love Parks week (25 July - 3 August 2025), we’re celebrating the people who help make Watford’s parks and green spaces such special places for everyone to enjoy.
A huge thank you to the amazing Veolia UK team, who work hard all year round to care for and maintain our parks.
We’re also proud to highlight the brilliant local community groups who bring our green spaces to life in so many different ways including: Hertfordshire Health Walks, Watford Interfaith Association, and Watford Indian Association.

Let’s continue to support, enjoy, and celebrate the wonderful green spaces that make Watford a great place to live and work.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: “Our green spaces are the heart of our community. Love Parks Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the spaces that make Watford such a special place to live, work and visit. I’m incredibly proud that Watford is home to 17 Green Flag Award-winning parks. This is testament to the care and dedication of local volunteers, Council staff, and our partners at Veolia. A huge thank you to them for their hard work in maintaining these much-loved spaces, helping to keep them clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.”
