On 7 February 2025, the Audentior Awards once again recognised the outstanding individuals, groups, and organisations that go above and beyond to make Watford a better place.
From transforming green spaces to mentoring young people, this year’s winners showcased the power of community spirit and dedication.
The awards evening, held at the Watford Palace Theatre and organised by the Elected Mayor of Watford and Chairwoman, was a celebration of generosity, commitment, and local pride. Thanks to public nominations, the awards highlighted Watford’s everyday heroes, whose contributions make a real difference in the town.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: "The Audentior Awards shine a light on incredible people who go out of their way to support our community. Whether it’s through voluntary work, public service, or simply being a good neighbour, these individuals represent the very best of Watford. Congratulations to all those nominated and to all the countless other unsung heroes in our town - you are an inspiration to all of us in Watford.
“I would also like to thank our headline sponsor, Allwyn, for their generous support in making this event possible. Their commitment to celebrating our local heroes helps ensure that we can continue to recognise and appreciate those who make a real difference in our town."
Chairwoman of Watford Borough Council, Cllr Dawn Allen-Williamson, added: "It is always a privilege to be part of these awards and to hear the stories of those who give so much to our town. The dedication, hard work, and selflessness of this year’s winners and nominees are truly inspiring. These awards are a small way for us to say thank you for everything they do."
This year’s awards, made possible through the support of sponsors, showcased the diverse and inspiring efforts of those who make Watford a great place to live.
