The Cedar Cafe is bringing fresh flavour to the hub...

The Cedar Café, operated by EMA Catering, has taken over the cafe at the Hub and they will also run the kiosk serving the paddling pools. The council chose EMA, who are known for their success in managing cafes in other parks, through a competitive tender process. Get ready to sip, savour, and socialise in the heart of this award-winning park!

Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: “Cassiobury Park is one of Britain’s top 10 best loved parks, with millions of people visiting each year. Welcoming and good quality places to eat and drink are an important part of people’s enjoyment of Cassiobury. The new 'Cedar Cafe' will mean there’s plenty of choice for people when they visit.

“It was great to help officially open the café and try out their delicious food and drinks. It was also great to hear how many of the products being used are sourced sustainably from local businesses. With their passion and creativity, I’m sure they'll make the cafe a fantastic place to eat."

Emine Mani, the director of EMA Catering said: “We are thrilled to open our newest venture in Cassiobury Park. We are aware of how important the park is to the people of Watford. We are so excited about providing delicious food alongside a strong inclusive community vibe. We are looking forward to meeting and welcoming you all to our cafe”.
