From Monday 5 February, if you need to speak to a member of the Revenues and Benefits Team in person, you will need to book an appointment in advance of your visit, by calling 01923 278466 (Council Tax) / 01923 278501 (Benefits) or email firstname.lastname@example.org / Benefits@watford.gov.uk
During the transition period we will accept a small number of Revenues only queries (Council Tax / Business Rates / Sundry accounts) as walk-in appointments, if the officer on duty is free. If they are already assisting another customer, you will be offered an appointment and asked to come back at that time.
All benefits queries will need an appointment, we will triaged the queries to help us determine the customer that can come in.
If your enquiry is urgent and you cannot wait for an appointment, as an alternative, you may visit the Customer Service Centre in Three Rivers House, WD3 1RL, where a member of staff will be able to assist.
For all other face-to-face enquiries, such as Housing, please see our opening times below:
- Monday: 9am to 1pm
- Tuesday: 1pm to 5pm
- Wednesday: 10am to 2pm
- Thursday: 1pm to 5pm
- Friday: 9am to 1pm
- Weekends and public holidays: Closed
