Learn about the horrible Twits and create your own disgusterous, hairy, bristly beard or hear the story of the friendliest giant and create your own fizzing, whizzing golden dream.
Mr Twit’s Beard will come to Watford Museum on Thursday next week from 11am to noon and 1pm to 2pm after its two initial appearances earlier today. The other event – BFG Dream Bottles – will be at the museum at the same times on Friday this week and next.
Entry to both events cost £1. To book, email firstname.lastname@example.org with the names and ages of the children attending the workshop, the date and time of the workshop they will attend and your contact details. For each activity, visitors can display their creation as part of the Roald Dahl exhibition at the museum. All exhibited art will be entered into a competition to win a family ticket see James and the Giant Peach at Watford Palace Theatre.
The events are being staged as part Watford Borough Council’s Big Word Fest, which celebrates acclaimed children’s author Roald Dahl in the lead-up to the 100th anniversary of his birth.
