Come and join Watford Borough Council and JiveSwing.com this weekend for the return of the Big Dance!
As part of its Big Events 2022 programme, Watford Borough Council, in partnership with JiveSwing.com, are happy to announce the return of the Big Dance on 21 May 2022 (12pm – 5pm) at the town centre event space by the pond on the High Street.
Run by dancers, the day promises an array of live performances to promote dance and celebrate as many diverse styles as possible. There will also be classes taught by professionals on the main stage which will be accessible for people of every age, background and ability.
Not only will there be fan favourites such as CODA (Come One Dance Academy) and The Diamond Girls but there will be new acts including Jordan Semmens Performing Arts, Jump Up Dance Academy plus many more.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: “Every year the Big Dance always brings so much joy to the town centre and I am certain this year will be no different. I’m looking forward to not only seeing the performances from both local and national acts, but also seeing everyone get involved in the classes that are inclusive for all.”
