The Mayor and Chairman of Watford Borough Council are delighted to announce the return of the Audentior Awards, taking place on Friday 26 February 2027.
Nominations are now open for residents to recognise the individuals, groups and organisations making an outstanding difference across Watford. The prestigious awards celebrate the town’s everyday heroes; those who go above and beyond to support others, strengthen communities and make Watford a better place to live, work and visit.
From dedicated volunteers and inspiring young people to community champions and local organisations, the Audentior Awards shine a spotlight on the remarkable people whose commitment, kindness and achievements have a lasting impact on the town.
The 2027 Audentior Awards will feature nine categories:
- Carer of the Year
- Charity Worker of the Year (sponsored by Berkeley Group)
- Public Service Award (sponsored by Veolia UK)
- Pride in Watford (sponsored by Murrill Construction)
- Young Achiever Award (sponsored by Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden)
- Good Neighbour Award (sponsored by The Clarendon Works)
- Contribution to Sport and Healthy Living (sponsored by Everyone Active)
- Chairman's Culture Award (sponsored by The Harlequin Centre)
- Mayor's Award
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: "The Audentior Awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people and organisations that make Watford such a special place.
