Affinity Water have announced a hosepipe ban due to the exceptionally high demand for water across its network caused by the extremely hot weather.
Unfortunately, the demand for water is reaching the limits of what can be supplied and distributed. They are asking for customers support to protect water supplies and reduce their water use. This means customers should not water their gardens, wash cars, windows or patios, or fill swimming and paddling pools.
Customers on the Priority Services Register (PSR), WaterSure Tariff or Blue Badge holders are exempt from these restrictions. If you think you may be eligible for the PSR, you can find more information and sign up at affinitywater.co.uk/priority-services
