“This year’s programme has something for everyone, from children’s favourites and big family adventures to musicals, comedies and action-packed blockbusters.

“Bringing the screen to both Pondside and Woodside also gives people the chance to enjoy the outdoor cinema experience in two very different settings. Pack a picnic, bring your chairs or blankets and join us for a memorable summer of free films in Watford.”

Visitors may bring small beach shelters or umbrellas for protection from the sun or rain, although these may not be permitted during very windy conditions. People using shelters may also be asked to sit towards the back of the site to avoid obstructing the view of others. For more event details, please read below:

  • Big Screen Pondside - deckchairs will be available, although visitors are also welcome to bring their own chairs and picnics.Due to the limited space within the event area, there will not be any traders on site. • Big Screen Woodside – Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, deckchairs and refreshments. A number of traders will also be available on site, alongside small funfair rides to help keep younger visitors entertained.
