Watford's Public Art Strategy
This public art strategy provides a framework for public art for Watford for the next ten years. It has been developed as a shared vision to embed public art into the fabric of the town, reflecting Watford’s unique history, its diverse community, its creativity and its energy.
Our Toolkit is aimed at anyone commissioning public art, including community groups, arts organisations, developers and their architects, landscape designers, consultants, and local authority planning officers. It has been produced to provide guidance and best practice advice in commissioning exemplary public art.
A Public Art Audit was undertaken between November 2022 and February 2025 which includes all existing permanent works of art.
