Oxhey Activity Park is a modern, purpose-built facility offering space for sport, play and relaxation.

The award-winning park provides high-quality facilities including a skate plaza, pump track, playground, café and open green areas.

Situated in Oxhey (Wiggenhall Road WD18 OHZ), close to Bushey station and Watford town centre, the park is free to access and open daily.

Accessbility

The park includes Changing Places, ramps, accessible routes and disability friendly play equipment, including sensory play equipment.

Dog-friendly park 

We welcome responsible owners and dogs at Oxhey Activity Park.

Whilst walking through the skate park, please keep your dog on a lead for the safety of the dog and park-users.

Dogs are also welcome at the Tasty Bean café and there is even a special dog water fountain/bowl for dogs to drink from. 

How to visit 

The aim of the project is to be as sustainable as possible, including encouraging people to travel by bike, foot, bus, or train.

Therefore, limited car parking is available. 

  • Access: the park can also be accessed via Dalton Way and the safe crossing point from B&Q to the entrance via the pedestrian crossing.
  • Train: Bushey Station is at 0.4 miles (8 minutes walk).
  • Bike Route: With connections to the existing National Cycle Route 6, which starts in London passes through Watford and goes on to Luton, you can enjoy mainly traffic free cycle paths.
  • Beryl Bike: Bays available on Wiggenhall Road and in the park.
  • Bus: 142, 258, 306, 8. Dalton Way bus stop is closest and is 9 mins walk. (Please note: the bus links will open on a new tab on your device)
