The normal method of payment will be monthly instalments on the 1st, 15th or 25th of every month. You can pay over 10 or 12 months. However, if you prefer to make one annual payment for the year on 15th May or two half year payments, this can be arranged by contacting us.
Please don't forget the Council must receive your payments by the due dates.
In the interest of it's local Council Taxpayers, the Council has to take recovery action if payments are not received. This action may result in the cancellation of the instalment facility and could lead to legal action for the recovery of the total amount outstanding. If you are having difficulty paying your non domestic Rates, it is important that you contact the Council as soon as possible, to discuss payment arrangements. If such action is necessary, then this will result in additional costs relating to issuing a Court Summons and Bailiff Fees.
How can I pay?
Direct Debit: The Council operates a Direct Debit system for payment which has the advantages of:
- Three payment dates available - payment maybe arranged for the 1st, 15th or 25th of the month
Online: Pay by debit card or credit card online.
Telephone: Telephone the 24 hour automated payment line on 01923 278 989 and quote the Payment Reference shown on your bill, the amount of your payment, and your debit or credit card number. You will need your account number and a pen to make a note of your receipt number when you call the telephone payment line.
BACS Transfer: Quote our Bank Sort Code 30-99-21, our Bank Account Number 04042285, and the Payment Reference shown on your bill.
