Got an idea about how to reduce waste?

Local businesses, charities and voluntary groups are being called upon to join together to prevent waste.

Grants of up to £50,000 are now available to partnerships with the most innovative ideas.

Any group who would like to start a new waste prevention project and would like to work in partnership with Watford Borough Council and the Waste Aware Group can apply for available funding.

Any projects must tackle waste prevention in some way - with priority given to those that focus on food, textiles, paper, plastics, electrical goods, furniture and bulky items, construction and demolition waste, and healthcare and chemical products.
