Local taxi drivers, companies and passengers can have their say on Watford Borough Council’s proposed ‘Vehicle Licensing Policy’...
The proposals look to update the current policy and to shape the quality of service in the town.
The draft policy builds on four broad objectives; the safety and welfare of the public and drivers, enhancing customer service, encouraging environmental sustainability and ensuring efficient and effective taxi and private hire provision in Watford.
To understand the views of trade members and the public, there will be a two day drop-in consultation session on 3 July and 4 July at Watford Town Hall. The session on 3 July runs from 11am to 8pm. The session on 4 July runs from 10am to 4pm.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor said “We’d like to know your views on the Vehicle Licensing Policy, so I hope that everyone will use the drop-in sessions and survey to have their say. We are committed to working closely with residents and local businesses to ensure that they receive high levels of services.”
Results from the drop in sessions will directly influence the draft policy which will go out to final consultation between 25 July 2019 and 21 September 2019.
