Watford Museum is holding two Halloween-themed events for children
Watford Borough Council’s Museum is holding two spooktacular Halloween-themed events on Saturday 27 October to keep children entertained over the half-term holiday.
Did you know that Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is 200 years old this year? To celebrate, the Museum is holding a Frankenstein-inspired Halloween craft activity from 11am to 1pm. No booking is necessary so please feel free to drop-in anytime. There is a small fee of £1 per child.
The second event is a Halloween walk taking place from 12pm to 1pm, with another session at 2pm to 3pm. A ‘mad scientist’ will lead visitors around the Museum’s galleries, collecting the elements needed to create a monster in this family-friendly walk. Booking is essential and it will cost £1 per person.
Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “Watford Museum has organised some wonderful activities and entertainment for children of all ages this year. These two events are no exception. Come along and take part in these craft activities for children of all ages. I’m pleased that we’re able to support these events.”
