Come along to Watford Museum and make your own birdfeeder this May half-term

Watford Museum is holding a free event this May half-term

Published: Tuesday, 29th May 2018

Watford Borough Council’s museum is hosting a free drop-in creative session on Friday 1 June, from 11am to 1pm to keep children entertained this half-term.

Taking inspiration from our natural environment and the spring season, children will be encouraged to make their very own birdfeeder from reusable plastic bottles, which they can take home. All materials and birdfeed will be provided, you only need to bring your creativity!

Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor, said: “Watford Museum holds such wonderful free events, particularly for children, and this one is a lovely idea. I hope parents and carers will come along with their children and take part in this lovely event.”

For more information on this activity visit watfordmuseum.org.uk and to keep up-to-date with future events at the museum, follow the Watford Museum Facebook page at facebook.com/watfordmuseum.

Watford Museum is open from Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Admission to Watford Museum is free.
