Be a venue for Watford Fringe 2024 and host great comedy, music and performance

Watford Fringe

Are you a Watford venue looking for new ways to get punters through your doors? Then why not become a Watford Fringe host...

Planning is getting underway for the Watford Fringe 2024 – the annual festival which supports great local talent to develop and perform their shows and brings high quality performing arts to local audiences to enjoy.

The Fringe is now in its 8th year and every year gets bigger and better. In 2023 we had over 100 performances all over Watford. And we need more venues to come on board to host our exciting acts in 2024. You earn money as a venue and get tonnes of publicity too.

We had everything from powerful drama to laugh-out-loud stand-up comedy. We enjoyed a wide range of music from Big Band to folk, rock, soul, funk and blues. We had bubbles, hypnotism, puppets and dance. We staged world premieres and five star shows form the Edinburgh Fringe. And we welcomed West End stars, TV legends, international singers and fantastic local talent.

Lewis Butler, from the Watford Museum which hosted a number of comedy and music acts as part of 2023’s Fringe, said: “We’ve been incredibly happy to be one of the hosts of Watford Fringe since the very beginning. It’s been a great opportunity to bring people through the door and have people enjoy the museum in another way. The variety of acts that we’ve hosted have been amazing and suited perfectly to our venue. Through the system the Pump House use and with their help managing it, the Fringe has been a breeze as well.”
