'Museums in Motion' is a brand new dance and heritage inspired film installation that is opening at Watford Museum for summer 2016.
The launch of this film installation, Museums in Motion, took place on 8 July. It is a brand new dance and heritage inspired film installation that is opening at Watford Museum for the summer.
The actual exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday 9 July to Friday 2 September. During these months young people and families can visit Watford Museum to explore the apps and functions to see what they can get up to on mobile phones and the historical items used for the same task. After the film, the audience was shown the objects that the children used to create the background music.
Laura Horn, Watford Borough Council’s Arts Development Officer, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to be able to offer our Young Carers in Watford. The collaboration of dance, technology and heritage made it an amazing experience. We look forward to sharing the installation with our visitors too!”
If you would like to attend between 9 July to 2 September the installation is available for the public to view during the Museum opening times - Thursday to Saturday 10am - 5pm.
