The Town Hall will remain open for face to face appointments from 12 November for any resident who needs to be seen in person.
Whilst the council is encouraging residents to use online services as part of the measures to protect the community from Covid-19, the customer service reception at the Town Hall will be partially open on an appointment-only basis from 12 November to provide support for those residents who are unable to get online to access services. Anyone wanting an appointment can pre-book via 01923 226400 or email@example.com
A wide range of council services, including paying bills and reporting a problem, can be done through the council's website through smartphones, tablets and computers. Our new customer self-service portal ‘MyWatford’ gives you real-time information on your rubbish, recycling and garden waste collections, council tax account and much more. You can access this via www.watford.gov.uk
Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor said “Many people rely on being able speak to a member of our staff face-to-face, so I am extremely proud of Watford Council staff who have continued to provide vital services for people in our town throughout the pandemic. I know that we have all been adapting to changes and new ways of working and many residents have been making use of our telephone and online services, and where possible I would encourage you to continue to do so.”
As a public building, visitors to the Town Hall will need to wear a face covering in the Covid-19 secure reception area and follow usual guidance on hand sanitising and social distancing.
