Winter months generally sees a rise in cases of asthma, heart attacks and strokes as well as seasonal winter flu creating higher numbers of people visiting hospital requiring treatment. With more of us spending increased time at home this winter, BHBH wants to take any further strain away from the NHS and ensure vulnerable people have access to whole house heating and hot water.

If you’re in receipt of a benefit including Job Seekers Allowance, Universal Credit, Carer’s Allowance or Housing Benefit they can also provide information and assistance on accessing grants and financial support.

If you work with vulnerable people in your community, their knowledgeable team can provide training to help you understand the signs of someone struggling with their home and what you can to do help.
