Watford Council services
Most council services are operating as normal during the coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic. However, some services are affected.
- Parking - from 20 December 2020 enforcement in CPZ areas is suspended and in council car parks but yellow lines on main routes, bus routes and at junctions still being enforced
- Bins and recycling - operating as normal (incl Waterdale waste and recycling centre)
- Crematoriums and cemeteries - services for up to 30 people, grounds open to public
- Parks and outdoor spaces including playgrounds and public toilets - open
- Outdoor sports facilities including golf clubs, tennis courts and skateparks closed
- Town hall customer services centre - face to face by appointment only, services can be accessed online or by phone
- Leisure and recreational facilities
- Watford Central Library, Leisure Centres and Watford Museum all closed
- Council committee meetings - operating as normal virtually
- Housing and homelessness services - operating as normal
- Planning applications- operating as normal
- Building control - operating as normal
- Licensing - suspended
- Environmental health inspections of food premises - suspended
