We have a duty planning officer who is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings between 10am and 12.45pm.
They are able to discuss general planning issues and matters relating to the following developments:
- Permitted development
- Householder applications
- Approval of details
- Shop fronts
- Simple extensions and alterations
- Simple change of use
There is no charge for this service to householders or businesses.
The duty planner is available on the telephone on 01923 226400 and in person at the Customer Service Centre as a ‘drop in’ service; no appointment is necessary.
If your query is more complicated, the duty planning officer can help you to make an application for permitted development advice or pre-application advice.
Please note that the Duty Planner can only advise on the information provided to them at that time.
This is without the benefit of site visits or taking in external factors such as neighbour and interested parties views.
