Can I speak at meetings?

Speaking at Council, Cabinet and other meetings

The council has procedures in place so that members of the public can speak at committee meetings.  There are different rules for the various meetings.

If you address a meeting, your name and the contents of your submission will be recorded in the minutes which are a permanent and public record.

More information is available in this section or you can contact Democratic Services.  Details are also included in the council's constitution.
