Doctor and health visitor permits
Medical organisations who need to frequently visit patients and clients living within the scheme are issued with permits through their place of employment. These permits enable them to park in any resident space within the scheme whilst they are carrying out their duties.
Doctor and Health Visitor Permits cost £25 for the first five in any organisation and £55 for all subsequent permits.

Please note that all new applications must be supported by an official, dated letter on headed paper from your Surgery Manager or Organisation Senior Administrator outlining the requirement for the permit including the number of health professionals needing to attend properties within the Controlled Parking Zone and how often such visits are likely to happen
For a replacement permit form click here. This form should be used if a member of the organisation has changed their vehicle or has left and been replaced by a new member of staff.
Due to previous misuse, the Doctor/Health Visitor Permits are not valid for visits to Watford General Hospital or for parking at a place of work. They are for essential domiciliary visits only and are closely monitored. Lost open permits (permits with no registration) will not be replaced and any suspected misuse will result in the revocation of the permit.
