Watford Health Walks

Hertfordshire Health Walks are an ideal form of exercise they’re suitable for all ages and abilities, local, short and free. Led by volunteer walk leaders, you can meet new people and keep fit whilst enjoying the wonderful green spaces and countryside around Watford. The walks are suitable for all ages and are all free of charge. Register online or arrive 10 minutes early to complete a registration form.  Hertfordshire Health Walks are delivered by Hertfordshire County Council’s Countryside & Rights of Way Service and supported by Public Health and Watford Borough Council.

  • Time: 11am (gentle 30 minute walk – First Steps)
  • Where: The Callowland Surgery, 141A Leavesden Road Watford, WD24 5DG
  • When: Every Wednesday
  • Time: 10.30am (Fast paced Walk- Grade 3) or 11am (easy/moderate- Grade 1 and 2 walks)
  • Where: The Cha Cafe, Cassiobury Park, WD18 7HY
  • When: Every Thursday
  • Time: 2pm (Fast paced Walk- Grade 3)
  • Where: The Cha Cafe, Cassiobury Park, WD18 7HY
  • When: Every Friday
  • Time: 11am (gentle 30 minute walk – First Steps)
  • Where: Garston, Woodside Leisure Centre, Horseshoe Lane, WD25 7HH
  • When: Sundays Monthly - January 12, February 10, March 10, April 14
  • Time: 2pm (moderate 1 hour walk – Grade 3)
  • Where: Cassiobury Park car park, Cassiobury Park Avenue, WD18 7LB
