Free children's activities

Free and fun family day

Wat's on poster

Watford Borough Council invites you to the launch of our free and fun family day on Easter Monday (2 April).  This is to celebrate the return of our exciting and challenging activities programme for children and young people aged from five to 15.

The launch event takes place by the Pond on the Parade from 12pm to 5pm.  There'll be lots of activities to take part in, including free face painting, an Easter egg hunt and even Quidditch!  Children will also have the opportunity to meet and have their photos taken free with the Minions, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and Chase and Skye from Paw Patrol, to name but a few.

While the event is free to attend, children, young people or parents/carers are requested to sign in when they arrive.

Our hugely popular range of fun and interactive sessions, which return for Easter, include stage school, adventure play, sports and arts and crafts, all for free. Activities will take place in parks, open spaces and some indoor locations across Watford, running right through until Saturday 14 April.

These free events are open access sessions, meaning that we can only supervise children and young people while they are on site and participating in the activities, so bear this in mind if you aren't attending with your children.
