Nascot was originally designated as a Conservation Area in 2001.

Nascot Conservation Area Character Appraisal

This character appraisal examines the Nascot Conservation Area and describes why it is an area of special architectural and historical interest.  Its purpose is to help inform the design of any future development proposals so that they enhance the area and acknowledge its features.

The Nascot Area Character Appraisal aims to set out the area’s special character and appearance and how it can be preserved or enhanced.

This appraisal will be used to help inform the design of any future development proposals so that they preserve or enhance the area and acknowledge its features.

It is important to note that no appraisal can ever be completely comprehensive and that the omission of a particular feature, building or open space should not be taken to imply that it is of no interest.

Nascot Conservation Area Character Appraisal adopted in December 2015
