New charging points coming to Watford

New charging points

Following a successful bid to the Government's Officer for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), and as part of our mission to make Watford carbon neutral by 2030, we are introducing new electric vehicle charging points around the borough.

The new installations by our partner and electric vehicle infrastructure experts Electric Blue are being focused in areas where there is little or no off-street parking.

From , 32 new new charging points which can charge 45 EVs at anyone one time (10 dual chargers and 15 single use lamp column chargers) are being installed in the following areas:
