Parking
Watford Borough Council operate a decriminalised parking enforcement scheme to benefit public transport users, pedestrians, cyclists and responsible motorists.
Provision is also made for a residents parking scheme by way of several controlled parking zones, enabling residents a fair opportunity to obtain parking space near their homes.
The Parking Service team are based at the Parking Shop in Market Street. The council staff and their contractors, Vinci Park UK, handle all enquiries relating to parking penalties, the issue of permits, maintenance of pay and display machines, signing and lining of the controlled parking zones and all on street enforcement patrols across the whole borough. The Parking Shop opening hours are 8am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday. Telephone 01908 223507.
