Abandoned vehicles
The Council has the power to remove any vehicle that it considers to be abandoned.

Vehicle amnesty
The council has introduced a 'Vehicle Amnesty' scheme offering owners free collection and disposal of unwanted vehicles.
Under this popular scheme, owners can contact the council and arrange to have an unwanted vehicle towed away and disposed of. The owner must agree to legally 'surrender' the car.
A simple form needs to be completed - you can request one from the Customer Service Centre at the Town Hall; by calling tel: 01923 235946 or one can be downloaded from the link below.
