Events and Entertainment
Lots of events and activities take place in the parks throughout the year including summer funfairs, firework displays, circuses, kids activities and charitable events.

The parks are also available to hire for a number of activities and events.

Nature Conservation
Watford’s parks are wildlife havens and are ideal for healthy exercise and community interaction. The Council is committed to nature conservation and biodiversity.

Sports facilities
There are plenty of sports facilities available within the parks including:

• tennis courts (hard and grass)
• football and cricket pitches
• rugby pitches
• bowls rinks
• hurling
• croquet

For more information on booking pitches or courts, or to find out about playing bowls or croquet, please phone Veolia on 0203 5676900.

Children's playgrounds
Lots of the parks and open spaces have children’s playgrounds. All of these are fenced off from dogs and have safety surfacing beneath the equipment. Cassiobury Park also has a miniature railway, a bouncy castle and lots of children's events throughout the year.

Dogs should be kept under control at all times, and greyhounds must be muzzled.
