Museums and galleries
There is something for everyone at Watford Museum. If you are a teacher there are school visits. If you are an art lover we have art exhibitions. And admission is free of charge!
In this section you can find out more about our wonderful Watford Museum and get more information on the gallery space in the town.
Watford Museum tells the story of Watford past and present - housed in the former offices of Benskins Brewery, the Museum has displays of local history and industry, including Watford Football Club memorabilia and the Cassiobury Collection of fine art.
Space2 is a programme of exhibitions in spaces across Watford, and was launched in the spring of 2006. The aim of Space2 is to promote visual art in the widest sense, providing a platform for local and regional artists to exhibit their work. There is a rolling programme of exhibitions in the gallery spaces at Watford Museum and in our Customer Service Centre.
