Memorial - maintenance
The borough's cemetery service is undertaking a programme of safety testing the stability of headstones and memorials in both Vicarage Road and North Watford Cemeteries.
This is following advice from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), as a number of accidents, some fatal, have occurred across the country.
If you are a plot owner or a regular visitor to any of our cemeteries please make sure we have your contact details up to date, in writing, so that we can send you details about testing your memorial.
