Watford offers a wide range of arts events that enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors to the area. Watford Borough Council believes that the arts make a real difference in people's lives and are committed to developing the arts within Watford and the local area.
The Arts team aims to:
- raise the profile of the arts in Watford
- act as a contact and information point for the arts sector and the community
- increase the diversity of arts activities in the local area
- support voluntary and professional arts organisations
- initiate and support partnerships and collaborations
- provide guidance on professional development and funding
