Crime - support and assistance

Victim Support is a national charity that offers emotional support and practical help to victims of crime.

crime - support & assistance

The service is free and confidential for victims, families and witnesses affected by crimes such as burglary, theft, hate crime, criminal damage and domestic violence.

Experience suggests most people find it extremely helpful to talk through feelings such as shock, anger and distress following a crime.  Victim Support volunteers are trained to listen, support and re-assure. The volunteers can link clients to services as needed - police, social workers and solicitors for example, for additional help.

If you would like to know more or make contact, visit Victim Support's Hertfordshire website.
