Adapting homes
Adapting your house can enable you to remain independent and stay in your home. However, you may feel that you require help and advice.
If you or someone in your home is disabled you may qualify for help of up to £30,000 towards the cost of providing adaptations and facilities, so that you or the disabled person can continue to live in your home. Visit our disabled facilities grant page for more information.
Care and Repair is an independent service which can offer advice and support to older and disabled homeowners who wish to improve, repair or adapt their properties.
