The Safer Watford Partnership work closely with the Sunflower Centre to challenge crimes of hate and domestic violence.

Domestic violence

The Sunflower Centre is a domestic abuse, race and hate crime action centre. It offers a free, confidential and a non-judgemental service. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm

The Sunflwer Centre can offer help via their:

Intervention team

Based within the centre, they can offer emotional and practical support, information on a wide range of areas, assistance in gaining legal advice, individual and group support for children affected by domestic abuse, race and hate crimes

Multi Agency Support Team

The centre links to specialist agencies such as Relate, Watford Womens Centre, Victim Support, Urban Access, Homestart, Girlabout, Hertsreach, West Herts Against Crime, Surestart, Turnaround, the Watford Womens Refuge and Druglink.
