An occupational therapist can assess your needs and recommend home adaptations to help you. There are many ways that your home can be adapted to meet your needs. Even a small change, such as adding a grab rail, could make a big difference.
Care and support for children and families
Within this service, occupational therapists aim to enable children from pre-school to school age (16 in mainstream – 18 in special education) through purposeful activity and play to reach their maximum functional level in all aspects of daily life and to attain the highest possible quality of life and independence.
