Graffiti - reporting and removal

Graffiti is an illegal, anti-social activity that creates a negative impression of an area and contributes to people's fear of crime.

Our policy is to remove any racist or offensive graffiti on public land within one working day after police forensics have given their permission to do so.

Other graffiti is removed on a rolling programme. We can normally arrange to remove graffiti from private property free of charge where it is immediately adjacent to the highway or other public space, but we will normally require you to complete a form granting us your permission to carry out the works.

If you spot any unsightly or offensive graffiti, you can report it online or call us on tel: 01923 235946 or use the email address at the bottom of the page.

If the graffiti is on your own property, please provide your name and address so that we can send you a removal request form.
